We are Safe Recycle, a sustainable project of SAFE, a non-profit organization established in 2001. Our mission is the promotion of safe and environmentally friendly recycling practices in urban areas of Bangladesh.This project aims to collect, sort and reward used or empty PET bottles and aluminum cans for recycling or reuse. By doing so, we hope to achieve the following goals

– Increase recycling rates and reduce plastic pollution and littering in Bangladesh
– Create income opportunities for consumers and recyclers who deposit their bottles and cans in the reverse vending machines.
– Save energy and resources by using recycled materials instead of imported polymers for the local plastic industry
– Support the circular economy and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals
